Dear Parent/Carers of Year 11

Have you ever wondered how you can support your child through the last few months of school and into their GCSEs? You aren’t alone.

We want our children to do well in exams and effective revision plays a crucial role. Whilst you can’t revise for your child, there are lots of ways you can help them. This ranges from checking what they know and helping them remember things, to providing the right homelife so that they can be at their most alert, healthy and resilient.

To help support you, we would like to invite all Year 11 parents and Students to a GCSE support evening at Shevington High School on Thursday 9th February at 6pm. We will share tips and tricks on how to thrive over the next few months as well as offering you an opportunity to hear our English, maths and science leaders on how best to revise their subjects.

Please can we ask you to complete the quick google expression of interest form. This will allow us to plan effectively for the evening
