Maths Intervention Mentor

Overview

The school is seeking to appoint a Maths Intervention Mentor to provide support to teaching staff and students, developing and delivering bespoke numeracy support plans.

The successful candidate will deliver 1:1 and small group intervention programmes and subject specific enrichment to raise levels of attainment and achievement in Maths.

The role will include supporting teaching and learning in both Key Stage 3 and Key stage 4, including a focus on the support of Y11 students under the direction and guidance of the Head of Maths Faculty and subject teachers, where appropriate.

The successful candidate must be extremely organised and be able to use ICT proficiently for recording and monitoring.
