PSHE
PSHE Curriculum Intent
Studied through three main strands - ‘Health and Wellbeing’, ‘Relationships’ and ‘Living in the Wider World’ - the PSHE and Careers curriculum at Shevington High School is designed to empower students to take ownership of their personal and professional futures. Rooted in our core values, it inspires students to achieve excellence, embrace challenges with positivity, and think innovatively.
Through a personalised and holistic approach, our curriculum nurtures:
- Personal Wellbeing and Growth: Students build resilience and confidence, with the ability to thrive in their life at school and beyond.
- Career Readiness: Students are equipped with the skills, knowledge and opportunities to explore future pathways and succeed in a rapidly changing world.
- Life Skills: Students are encouraged to invest in their future by understanding the importance of effective communication and informed decision making.
Our curriculum ensures that every student is challenged to reach their potential and recognises that education is a lifelong journey where “life is what I make it.”
