Required from: September 2026 ( 1 Year Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity)
Shevington High School is a successful and popular 11-16 community school, built upon our core values of respect, inclusion, aspiration, and kindness. We are seeking to appoint a full‑time Teacher of Girls’ Physical Education. This post offers a fantastic opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher. The successful candidate will work within our dynamic and dedicated PE Department, a team committed to promoting physical literacy, sporting excellence and healthy, active lifestyles for all pupils. The department is highly supportive and collaborative, ensuring students receive high‑quality teaching across a broad, engaging and inclusive PE curriculum.
At Shevington High School, our aim in Physical Education is to create young people who develop a love for sport and physical activity which they can take into their future lives. Facilities include sports fields, sports hall, gymnasium, hard court areas and we will soon have our own 3G pitch.
