Welcome
Kind words & testimonials
As a new Shevington student, the teachers are very welcoming and always approachable in a way that they make you feel they are there for you. Overall, it is a great school with a nice atmosphere, and this helps you progress more. Also, when your teachers push you to set higher goals at the start of each lesson and coaching session. If you are thinking of coming to Shevington, it is definitely the right choice because it feels like one big family.
Amelia, Year 7

I think that Shevington High School is a place to find new friends and start a new chapter of life. I started this school with one friend and since starting in this school, I have made many, many more. I have found what subjects I enjoy and how to make choices on what I want to do when I grow up by knowing what subjects I want to do at GCSE. Being at Shevington High School makes me feel prepared for when I leave school and my future self.

Rebecca, Year 8
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Shevington and I was sad to leave. The teachers were approachable, supportive and I gained a good rapport with them whilst there. The school is one of the few to take part in the Mandarin Excellence Programme, which I did for 3 years and had the opportunity to go to China. At Shevington, I took part in ensembles, orchestra and concerts in music as well as bronze and silver awards in the Duke of Edinburgh. The school offers rewards for hard work and good behaviour and  are very supportive. Shevington High has given me the opportunity to go on to study Chemistry, Biology and Music at A-level as well as join the Medical Society with my aspiration to become a Vet.
